The Beginning
When Ellie Kam and Danny O’Shea joined forces in September 2022, they weren’t just forming a new skating partnership—they were laying the foundation for an Olympic dream. In just four short months together, they shocked the skating world by capturing a medal at the U.S. Nationals and earning a coveted spot on the World team, taking their first steps on the path to the Milan Olympics in 2026.
Building Momentum
Their sophomore season proved this was no fluke. Team KamO’ claimed the U.S. National Championship title, stood on the podium at Four Continents Championships, and made their second consecutive World Championship appearance—each achievement bringing them closer to Olympic qualification.
Breaking Through
In their third season, Ellie and Danny took the ice by storm: they medaled at all four early competitions—including both of their Grand Prix assignments—earning a spot in the Grand Prix Final and cracking the top 6 in world rankings for the first half of the season. They then added another U.S. Nationals medal to their haul and battled through the World Championships on a broken foot to finish 7th, wrapping up the year ranked 5th overall in the ISU season standings.
The Olympic Season
Now, the Olympic season is upon us. In this fourth year together, Ellie and Danny are hungrier than ever—fine-tuning their technical repertoire, sharpening their performance under pressure, and staying ready to challenge the world’s best.
